What are the benefits of

acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a safe treatment and can be used to complement western medicine, holistic health therapies and a good lifestyle. There are some specific conditions that acupuncture can support effectively.

Acupuncture is commonly used to treat musculoskeletal injury & pain conditions including back pain, neck pain, knee pain, frozen shoulder, headaches. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), which provides guideline for the NHS, recommends acupuncture for pain conditions due to its treatment efficacy. Acupuncture is thought to reduce pain by promoting the secretion of pain-relieving endorphins as well as reducing inflammation and promoting blood flow.
